What your day could look like

As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker, you'll help strengthen the connection between community and healthcare. You'll support individuals and families with culturally grounded conversations, promote engagement with services, and build trust across the region. Your day includes outreach that improves access to care, collaborating with community partners, and keeping clear records that support quality and continuity.

Let's talk about you!

You're someone who brings compassion, cultural pride and integrity to every interaction. You communicate with respect, create safe spaces and genuinely care about improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, hold or are working toward a Certificate III in Primary Health, engage confidently with community, and hold a ‘C' class licence. You embody our values—compassion, dignity, innovation, integrity and courage.
