- Salary range: $4912.70 to $5286.40 p.f. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
Alongside the Clinical Nurse Consultant, the Senior Health Practitioner in Charters Towers is responsible for the provision of clinical leadership and coordination of service delivery by a multidisciplinary team to the community of Charters Towers and other communities within the health service including Richmond and Hughenden.
You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and other service providers to provide specialist mental health interventions for community members (and their families) from across the lifespan who experience complex moderate to severe mental health problems.
This will include the provision of assessment and case management to community members experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues related to their use of drugs and or alcohol.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work) and proof of registration (if applicable).
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including Blue Card Checks.
