The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Allied Health Clinicians – Senior (Healthy Kindy Kids) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide specialised clinical problem‑solving and independent judgment to manage complex caseloads across developmental domains
- Lead and participate in service quality improvement and research activities at team and program level
- Provide clinical practice supervision to clinicians to ensure the maintenance of clinical standards
- Influence human resource management to foster a high‑performing and inclusive team culture
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A Tertiary degree (in one of the relevant disciplines): Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech Pathology
- AHPRA Registration
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Driver Licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time and temporary full time (one permanent position and one temporary position, up to 6 months)
- Base salary ranging from $128 169 - $137 918 per annum, $4912.70 - $5286.40 per fortnight

The Healthy Kindy Kids program provides free health checks for children attending kindergarten to identify and address any potential health or developmental needs early on. This program aims to give children the best start to their education by ensuring they have the necessary support before starting school.
