We're excited to welcome an Advanced Trainee and Registrar to our Obstetrics and Gynaecology team! We are seeking candidates that are available for an immediate start through to February 2027.

Advanced Trainee - you will have the opportunity to complete one year of advanced RANZCOG training in a position designed to develop consultant-level skills in general gynaecologic surgery, birth suite management, advanced obstetric procedures, and leadership. You will undertake one or more RANZCOG Advanced Training Modules, with options including obstetrics, laparoscopy (available in the second year only), and urogynaecology or reproductive health.

Registrar - you will have the opportunity to provide patient assessment and management in consultation with the treating consultant. This will involve attending acute and elective admissions under the team during normal working hours, review of inpatients and participating in ward rounds with consultants and outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, providing comprehensive care to patients while working within a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • Work closely with senior registrars and senior medical officers to develop obstetric and gynaecological clinical skills whilst building confidence and progression to independent practice in a supportive environment.
  • Deliver high quality care across our inpatient and outpatient services. Including the opportunity to gain exposure to our clinics.

Salary rates: $5,155.00 - $5,946.00 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4 - L9) (temporary full-time or part-time position, up to 76 hrs p.f.).  Applications will remain current for 12 months / or the duration of the vacancy.
