We are seeking a Manager (Environmental Offsets & Approvals) to join our team based in Brisbane.
The purpose of the Manager (Environmental Offsets and Approvals) is to provide leadership and influence regarding high level environmental management expertise to enable the regions to meet the Department's and the Government's environmental management commitments with a focus on development and implementation of a Strategic Environmental Offsets Program and Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (EPBC) Approvals.
This role is based in the PMD and provides district support for Transport and Main Roads Infrastructure Delivery Program, corporate level advice, and leads departmental management of environmental matters.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Sustainability or equivalent qualification.
