The Inspector of Mines provides support and technical advice on a range of regulatory and compliance services to industry through inspections, audits, advice and other targeted initiatives to support the achievement of the organisation's operational aims.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following attributes:
- A questioning and curious mind
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an ability to write professional and polished investigation reports
- A passion for driving better safety and health outcomes for industry
- Be able to communicate with influence
- Have indusrty knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health and Safety
- The ability to understand and apply relevant legislation
