About us:
The Quality and Safety Division leads and supports the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care across CQHHS. We work collaboratively to support clinical governance, monitoring key indicators to inform decision-making and drive innovation. Our team is committed to a "Safety-II" approach—learning from what goes right to build resilient healthcare systems for our diverse regional communities.
About the role:
- Implement and monitor organisational quality standards, clinical policies, and governance frameworks.
- Lead evaluation and reporting against National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
- Analyse complex datasets and emerging risks to identify opportunities for system-level improvement.
- Deliver at-the-elbow training and education to build clinical governance capability across the service.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consumer partners to enhance patient safety initiatives.
About you:
- You possess a high-level understanding of healthcare standards and clinical governance processes.
- You are a skilled communicator capable of engaging effectively with clinicians, executives, and patients.
- You have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex policy and data.
- You are committed to ongoing professional learning and fostering a positive safety culture.
- You demonstrate leadership through role-modelling exemplary professional standards.
What we offer:
Total remuneration, varying by stream, is as follows (includes 12.75% super and 17.5% leave loading):
- Admin: Up to $152,772 p.a. with an hourly rate between $63.04 - $67.53 p.h.
- Health Practitioner: Up to $157,359 p.a. with an hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
- Nurse: Up to $135,857 p.a. with an hourly rate between $56.08 - $60.05 p.h.
