In the role of Project Manager, you will project manage the delivery of assigned civil infrastructure activities, such as construction, maintenance, rehabilitation, pre-construction, electrical and business projects. You will undertake estimating, tendering and bid management activities and provide operational management of civil construction works for roads and bridges and other associated infrastructure projects. You will manage multiple/complex road infrastructure projects through delivery of contracts for internal and external customers and ensure that all quality, environment, safety, traffic, procurement, and other operational system procedures are followed during delivery of assigned projects.
Accountabilities include:
• Use technical knowledge and leadership to plan and co-ordinate all resources and works necessary to ensure multiple and/or complex projects achieve scope, time, quality, cost and other targets, utilising project management methodologies, corporate systems and tools to manage and report on performance.
• Manage and maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders and RoadTek Resource Managers on work availability, plantprogramming and prioritising requirements via the Senior Project Manager.
• Plan, allocate, supervise, and coordinate work activities of team members within multiple and/or complex projects, including provision of employee performance and behaviour management principles and approaches.
• Manage the preparation of tenders and estimates through the provision of expert advice into construction and maintenance processes, production rates, and local information.
• Regularly measure completed works to monitor budget performance and submit progress payment claims at agreed interval for multiple and/or complex projects.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
• You may be required to travel to other locations within Queensland to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
Desirable requirements:
• A Diploma in Project Management and accredited Frontline Management qualification.
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in the civil industry.
• Previous experience in the road construction or maintenance industry.
