An exciting opportunity exists for a Paediatric Advanced Trainee with our Child Development Service (CDS). This position is available for the second half of the 2026 year and is an accredited community and child health training position that would suit a community child health advanced trainee or a general paediatric advanced trainee seeking a community and developmental term. In this role, you will have the opportunity to consolidate your clinical knowledge and step into a role experiencing more autonomy with supervision and support.

This position is based in our Caloundra CDS, however, is also involved in rural general paediatric clinics and can be involved in child protection clinics.  Based on the glorious Sunshine Coast, this is a wonderful location to live and train.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Engage in clinical research and audit activities, with opportunities to lead and participate in quality improvement projects. 
• Assessment and management of children in a multidisciplinary format, and forward planning for ongoing care.
• Attend outpatient clinics with new and review patients.

Salary rates: $5,155.00 - $5,946.00 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4 - L9) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.) for up to 8 months. Applications will remain current for 12 months / or the duration of the vacancy.
