We're excited to welcome a Registered Nurse to the Single Assessment Service team.

The Single Assessment Service (formerly ACAT) is part of the Community and Preventive Health (CPH) Directorate and is responsible for assessing the medical, physical, cultural, psychological and social care needs of older people. The service supports clients to access the most appropriate Australian Government–subsidised aged care programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assess the medical, functional, psychological, cultural and social needs of older people and determining the most appropriate services to support them.
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces and manage all information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
