The Business Systems Administrator is responsible for the development and implementation of systemic priorities and initiatives pertaining to the QAS finance systems. The role draws upon a combination of experience, technical knowledge and business analysis capability to resolve any finance system issues and contribute to the effective performance of administrative, technical and reporting functions undertaken by the Financial Modelling, Costings and Systems Unit.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
• Proven success in the delivery and support of effective financial systems and business solutions (in particular SAP), supported by sound knowledge of accounting functions and principles.
• Demonstrated capability and experience in large, computerised accrual accounting environments, including the coordination and administration of financial management systems and programs.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve goals and meet deadlines, including dealing with competing demands and managing multiple tasks.
• Advanced skills in business analysis, business reporting and evaluating the financial impact of issues on a client's business, to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Proven ability to efficiently utilise computer applications including Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel and the ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships and provide effective customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
• Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in business, finance or another related discipline will be highly regarded.
