An AO7 Principal Client Insights Specialist vacancy is available in the Workforce & Client Experience division of the Queensland Revenue Office.
You will use your market research expertise to source client feedback; your data analysis skills to provide actionable insights and communication abilities to deliver those insights in clear and easy to understand formats to improve clients’ experience and support business outcomes.

Your typical day as a Principal Client Insights Specialist may include:
• Identifying opportunities to automate and streamline client insights processes to improve the efficiency, timeliness and consistency of insight delivery.
• Applying best‑practice insight methods to qualitative and quantitative client feedback, translating data into clear insight stories and actionable recommendations.
• Working with business areas that operate in a regulatory environment to close the loop on client feedback, ensuring insights lead to action and clients are informed where appropriate.
• Analysing and reporting on client data using contemporary tools and platforms such as Excel, SPSS, Qualtrics or similar analytics software.
• Leading and mentoring insights staff while identifying opportunities to improve and strengthen insights capability.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
• End‑to‑end experience delivering client insights, from research design through to analysis, reporting and applied CX insights.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor insights practitioners.
• Strong ability to use automation, analytics platforms and digital tools to scale and strengthen insights delivery.
• Excellent communication and insight storytelling, able to translate complex data into compelling CX stories, case studies and clear actions for senior stakeholders.
Skills in contemporary data analysis tools and software are desirable (e.g. Excel, Q, SPSS).
