What your day could look like
As a Pharmacist, you'll play a key role in safer, connected care for our community. From optimising medicines at the bedside to partnering with clinicians on therapy decisions, you'll help patients receive the right treatment, at the right time, every time.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading evidence‑based medication management—from reconciliation to discharge—to improve outcomes and reduce risk.
- Providing therapeutic drug monitoring, counselling and practical advice that empowers patients and clinicians.
- Driving medication safety and quality improvement, turning insights into better processes and measurable results.
- Sharing knowledge with pharmacists, interns, assistants and students, and shaping protocols that lift practice across the service.
Let's talk about you!
You bring capability and care in equal measure. You think on your feet, act with integrity, and collaborate generously—especially when it matters most. You'll feel proud seeing patients transition safely through care because of your calm judgement and clear communication. Compassion, dignity, innovation and courage aren't just words to you—they're how you work.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Registered (or eligible) Pharmacist with a recognised tertiary qualification.
- Skilled in clinical decision‑making, problem‑solving and delivering person‑centred care.
- Confident educator and team collaborator across multidisciplinary settings.
- Able to participate in shifts/on‑call, travel between sites, and meet PPE and immunisation requirements; holds a current ‘C' class driver licence.
You'll stand out if you bring regional or hospital experience, an interest in residency or postgraduate study, and a passion for medication safety.
Together, we deliver safer care today and build better services for tomorrow—living our values every step of the way.
