An AO7 Principal Full Stack Developer permanent vacancy is available in the Technology and Analytics Group of the Queensland Revenue Office. This role will be based in the Brisbane CBD.

In this role you will you will use your initiative to create effective and innovative technical solutions that underpin the continuity of business processes and security of information, enabling Information Technology and the organisation to meet their strategic objectives.

Your typical day as a Principal Full Stack Developer may include:
• A brief check-in with the team of five senior developers to confirm priorities, unblock work, and align on delivery
• Stay hands-on with design and development tasks while setting technical direction and ensuring solutions meet quality and security standards
• Review pull requests, provide feedback, and coach the team to maintain consistency, maintainability, and strong engineering practices
• Resolve complex technical issues, manage risks early, and coordinate build/release activities to keep delivery on track
• Provide your supervisor with clear day-to-day updates on progress, risks, and decisions required.

You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
• Strong experience (5+ years) in using Angular (or similar), TypeScript/java-script, Node.js, HTML5/CSS/Bootstrap
• Design, develop and support C# .NET APIs and Function Apps hosted on Azure using App Services, Service Bus / Queues and Topics, Storage Accounts, Application Insights, Azure Front Door, App Configuration and Key Vault
• Drive CI/CD and quality through Azure DevOps build/release pipelines and modern tooling (Visual Studio/VS Code), contributing to secure, scalable cloud solutions including exposure to Azure B2C/B2B
• Taking ownership of your own development and growth and applying your own knowledge and skills to solve problems collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
