Bundaberg Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Psychologist to join the Behaviour Response Team (BRT) within Integrated Care and Rehabilitation Services. This role provides advanced clinical psychology services as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients with complex behavioural and psychological needs. The position plays a key role in assessment, behaviour support planning, staff consultation, and delivering evidence-based psychological interventions across the hospital. Located on the Southern Great Barrier Reef, Bundaberg offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle with access to beautiful beaches, national parks, and a vibrant regional community.

Your opportunity:
- The purpose of this role is to deliver high quality, evidenced based advanced Psychology services to clients of the Behaviour Response Team (BRT), as part of an interprofessional team to support adult patients presenting with significantly changed behaviours, due to a cognitive impairment or disability.
- The role will include targeted & timely specialised assessment, behaviour management plan development, communication, engagement, education and support to staff providing client care.
- This position reports to the Team Leader Integrated Care Rehabilitation, Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The role will also have a professional reporting line to the Executive Director of Allied Health WBHHS.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $172,615 p.a., comprising salary between $144,991 - $151,289 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
