The Workplace Health and Safety Advisor (AO4) supports the implementation of workplace health and safety practices across the school to ensure a safe and compliant working and learning environment.

Working as part of the school's leadership and operational team, the Advisor provides practical guidance on safety procedures, risk management, incident reporting, and legislative compliance.

This role works closely with school leadership, staff and relevant stakeholders to promote a proactive safety culture, support WHS processes, and assist with the coordination of health and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day implementation of WHS processes within the school environment. Y
  • ou will assist with hazard identification, risk assessments, incident management, and ensuring compliance with departmental policies and relevant legislation.
  • You will play an important role in monitoring safety practices, supporting investigations, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement in workplace health and safety systems.
