About your new role:

In your new role you will…… 

  • Work closely with the Clinical Dean, Clinical Directors, and the Medical Education Unit (MEU) to design, implement and monitor orientation, training courses, supervision structures, assessment processes, term evaluations, and accreditation requirements across all clinical rotations.
  • Provide leadership in medical education strategy, supporting interdisciplinary training, IMG supervision, and research initiatives in adult learning and clinical education.
  • Champion best-practice training, assessment and supervision systems, ensuring junior doctors receive meaningful career guidance to strengthen the quality and safety of medical practice across Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service's 30+ rural, remote and regional facilities.
  • Work within a skilled and passionate Medical Education Unit, partnering with universities, specialist colleges, and clinical departments to design innovative teaching programs and strengthen clinical training frameworks.

As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive competitive base salary up to $137,136 per annum part time (L18 – L27), you will also have access to:
