Your new role:
As the Assistant Director – Medical Imaging Services, you will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality imaging services across multiple sites, by:
- Leading and managing multidisciplinary imaging teams across Logan, Beaudesert and satellite facilities
- Supporting the Director of Medical Imaging Services, including acting in the role when required
- Overseeing workforce management including recruitment, rostering, payroll and performance development
- Driving service improvement initiatives, operational efficiency and quality outcomes
- Managing imaging assets, contracts, systems and resource allocation
- Providing strategic advice and contributing to service planning and future capability development
- Leading compliance with accreditation standards, clinical governance and safety frameworks
- Fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture
About you:
You are an experienced and strategic healthcare leader with strong clinical expertise in medical imaging, with:
- Proven ability to lead and manage large, multidisciplinary imaging services
- High-level communication skills with the ability to influence and provide authoritative advice
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, rostering and resource management
- Strong track record in driving service improvement and innovation initiatives
- Advanced clinical knowledge and understanding of emerging imaging technologies
- Ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging and current AHPRA registration (and ASAR where applicable)

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
