Your opportunity:

• This position will function as part of a team of pharmacists providing services to patients within the Pharmacy Services of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
• An expected outcome of this position is to provide accurate and timely advice to medical, nursing and subordinate pharmacy staff on patient admission history and pharmaceutical issues while ensuring optimum patient medication safety.
• Service delivery will be in accordance with contemporary professional, legislative and quality standards including:
  • Queensland Government Health Drugs and Poisons Regulation 1996
  • The Australian Council of Healthcare Standards
  • Professional Standards of Practice of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA)
  • QH Policies and Procedures

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $66,283 p.a., comprising salary rates $39.87 - $58.60 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Permanent Part Time, 38 hours p.f.).
