You'll work on a diverse range of matters, balancing technical assessment, regulatory decision making and stakeholder engagement. The role involves collaboration with service providers, public health agencies and other government stakeholders, including travel to regional and remote locations as required.
Key responsibilities

• Assist in responding to drinking and recycled water quality incidents, working collaboratively to minimise risks to public health
• Provide clear, accurate advice and interpretation of water legislation, regulations and guidelines
• Contribute to high quality briefs, correspondence, submissions and reports
• Support the development and review of regulatory guidance and technical documentation
About you
You'll be someone who is analytical, detail focused and comfortable working with complex regulatory frameworks. You communicate clearly, exercise sound judgement, and can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret legislation and technical information
