To provide support that enables the delivery of a customer-focused Payroll Service to clients of the Queensland Health rostering and payroll solution. This role includes the provision of accurate and secure access management, IT Service Management, and high-quality customer service within a high-volume service desk and contact centre environment, supporting the operational needs of Queensland Health staff.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality customer service to all Queensland Health payroll system and business users including user access administration in accordance with Key Performance Indicators and maintaining adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Adhere with security protocols relating to user identity verification and report any anomalies or instances of breach.
  • Perform initial assessment of customer requests to determine priority and escalation requirements to ensure that timely responses to issues are provided.

Key competencies/suitability (role specific criteria and personal qualities)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to take high volumes of inbound enquiries via multiple pathways (phone, email etc) in a customer service or help desk environment.
  • Knowledge or understanding of payroll and rostering systems processes and procedures.
  • Interpersonal communication skills with all levels of staff in a large organisation, particularly including the capacity to summarise complex information and gather detailed information.
