EDQ has an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager within the Housing Supply and Delivery team.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team of property professionals with clear directions to secure sites across Queensland to support EDQ’s housing pipeline and then bringing those into delivery phase.

EDQ plays a critical role in unlocking land for housing supply both in Priority Development Areas (PDAs) and on surplus Government land. EDQ is also dedicated to delivering infrastructure in the right places at the right time as well as identifying and facilitating projects that are delivering jobs and helping existing businesses to grow.
As Development Manager, you will make an important contribution to the Housing Supply and Delivery team through:
Planning and managing the delivery of one or more key stages of a development projects, which may include significant enabling infrastructure, as well as residential, retail, commercial, and / or community uses.
Due diligence, site / master planning and feasibility preparation and management. Managing and/or supporting the preparation and implementation, for review and approval, the business case and development strategy, including all necessary information to support key assumptions and six-monthly reviews of the business case.
Preparing / updating development programs and project funding strategies Preparing briefs for design consultants and contractors Supporting the preparation of briefing documents seeking project approvals Preparation and presentation of high-quality Project Control Group (PCG) reports at monthly PCG meetings. Monitoring market conditions and competitor trends and oversee marketing, sales and leasing.
Facilitating land sales, including working with proponents, stakeholders, internal teams, other government agencies and external real estate agents. Managing land holdings, developing / implementing strategies to maximise revenue and reduce holding costs.
Managing project staff, external consultants and other resources to ensure appropriate project governance and risk management, adherence to agreed timeframes, budget and quality parameters.Formulating project procurement strategies and overseeing tender preparation and assessment, contract preparation and negotiation, and ensuring that the commercial interests of EDQ are protected.
