In the role of Systems Coordinator, you will provide support to Project Managers coordinating the implementation of uniform systems/initiatives and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of these systems. You will be the point of contact for safety, environment, and quality related issues at the local operational level.
Accountabilities include:
• Ensure the uniform implementation of Business Management Systems, through internal audit and review, to ensure they comply with legislation, standards, and RoadTek accreditation requirements.
• Develop and implement internal audit schedule through consultation with Advisors (Operational Safety), Environmental Officers, operational management and project teams.
• Monitor and implement continuous improvement operationally through the Continuous Improvement Platform, including but not limited to audit outcomes.
• Support implementation of new continuous improvement projects at an operational level and monitor use and compliance of RoadTek applications and report performance to operational management.
• Provide advice and operational assistance to project teams to develop and review project plans.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of depot management and business continuity.
• Report compliance with Business Management Systems at an operational level and actively bridge gaps to build knowledge and awareness.
• Actively engage in meetings, forums and site visits to raise issues and share ideas.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
• A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
• TMR has a Drug and Alcohol Policy which applies to all Employees, Workers and Visitors to TMR workplaces. This may include random, post incident and reasonable suspicion testing during employment to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
Desirable qualifications and conditions
It is highly desirable for applicants to be certified, have equivalent qualifications/experience, or be able to obtain within 12 months:
• Internal Auditing (Certificate in Internal Auditor Training, Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems and/or Auditing a Quality Management System)
• Level IV Workplace Health and Safety
