As a Clinical Nurse, you'll strengthen the care experience for residents and contribute to a positive, forward‑thinking team culture. From coordinating care in complex situations to championing quality and safety, you'll help shape outcomes that matter across our rural health service.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Leading comprehensive, evidence‑informed nursing care that supports wellbeing and improves outcomes for residents.
  • Guiding and mentoring team members through clinical decision‑making, teamwork, and safe practice.
  • Driving continuous improvement by monitoring care standards and implementing meaningful changes.
  • Coordinating care delivery using sound judgement, resource awareness and a commitment to safe, person‑centred care.

Let's Talk About You

You're someone who brings confidence, compassion and clarity to your practice. You excel in fast‑changing situations, approach challenges with integrity, and know how to bring people together to achieve great care. You take pride in creating a safe, respectful environment where residents feel valued and supported, and you're motivated by the impact your leadership can have in a rural setting.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage complex care needs.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to lead, guide and support others.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous learning.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring experience in rural or aged care environments and/or postgraduate qualifications relevant to advanced nursing practice.

Above all, you'll embody compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—values that strengthen the way we care for our community.
