About the Team
The Clinical Practice Supervision Team is a multidisciplinary allied health team providing specialist clinical supervision to CYMHS Allied Health Clinicians in regional, rural and remote areas as well as supporting upskilling and development of supervision capability in Child and Youth Mental Health Services in Queensland. The team is based with the CHQ CYMHS Team at level 8, 199 Grey Street, South Brisbane, and largely provides supervision via telehealth
About the Role
In this role you will create systems to sustain high quality delivery for children, young people and families (Leader of Leaders) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Lead and manage the Clinical Practice Supervision Team – management of the team of experienced CYMHS Allied Health Supervisors; and leadership of the program in working collaboratively with Regional, Rural and Remote HHSs in the appropriate provision of supervision for allied health staff.
- Provide expert advice and high-level support to HHSs as well as to Statewide Mental Health Networks, Mental Health Branch and the Office of the Chief Allied Health Officer.
- Guide, mentor and supervise staff as well as providing direct supervision as required.
