You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of property professionals with clear directions to secure sites across Queensland to support EDQ’s housing pipeline and then bringing those into delivery phase.

EDQ plays a critical role in unlocking land for housing supply both in Priority Development Areas (PDAs) and on surplus Government land. EDQ is also dedicated to delivering infrastructure in the right places at the right time as well as identifying and facilitating projects that are delivering jobs and helping existing businesses to grow.
As Assistant Development Manager, you will support the Housing Supply and Delivery team through:
Lead components or specific stages of development projects, including the management of consultant teams and project delivery, to ensure the effective and timely implementation of EDQ's strategic objectives.
Support the project team to achieve EDQ Urban Development's objective of leading, directing, managing and delivering complex development projects.
Undertaking due diligence and prepare site / master planning and feasibility options.
Preparing / updating development programs in Microsoft Project.
Lead the preparation, assessment and ongoing management of the project feasibility through Estate Master, including inputting and monitoring of ‘actuals' against ‘budgets'.
Provide team support and advice across various aspects of the development process as required, including project feasibility inputs, approvals, design and project management.
Prepare, manage and monitor budgets, including reporting of financial performance, monitoring cash flows and undertaking risk assessment analysis.
Take a lead role in analysing information and data to provide advice and recommendations in relation to the impact on business case and feasibility.
Manage all project records and documentation, and provide secretariat support, including input into the preparation of of high-quality Project Control Group (PCG) and Business Case Review (BCR) reports, including all agendas and minutes.
Manage and assess project compliance against specific development approval conditions, as well as compliance with accreditations such as environmental and design guidelines, and propose paths for solutions where issues are identified.
Support the project teams by participating in or leading (where appropriate), scope preparation, obtaining financial approval, procurement, award and contract management (consultants and construction), to ensure effective and timely outcomes are achieved.
Assist in, and manage where appropriate, the preparation of applications and the obtaining of internal and Authority approvals for development and infrastructure proposals, including material change of use, lot reconfiguration, building works and operational works under the Economic Development Act and other planning legislation.
Prepare draft briefs and memorandums seeking decisions and approvals on complex matters related to development projects.
monitoring market conditions and competitor trends and oversee marketing, sales and leasing.
managing land holdings and assets, developing / implementing strategies to maximise revenue and reduce holding costs.
Contribute to identifying project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Deliver a high level of client service by building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.
Actively contribute to the positive team environment and culture, through teamwork, information transfer, transparent decision making and shared responsibility.
