As the Principal of Gumdale State School, you will play a vital role in delivering the vision of the department. The leadership role of Principal is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools.
The Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

Your opportunity
The Principal classification at Gumdale SS is Level 6 however the Principal is remunerated at Level 8, due to being recognised under the Special Purpose Provision - over 1100 Enrolments currently until 31/12/26.

About the Role
As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.

- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Nurture positive partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.

- Understand policies and legislation effecting the department.
- Manage department resources to achieve goals.
