Bundaberg North State High School are seeking a Deputy Principal to join our experienced Executive team for 17 weeks.
In this time, you would be responsible for the continued delivery of one of our strategic agendas "Realising your Potential".
You would also be required to manage the English and Mathematics departments and the school's behaviour management processes for 2 Year levels.
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school team that has experienced significant growth in the last 18 months, ensuring that the needs of the school community are progressed and managed with clarity
and precision.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 11 May 2026 until 4 Spetember 2026, unless otherwise determined.

As the Deputy Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Promote socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies, community groups.
- Be future-oriented and strategic.
- Understand policies and legislation affecting the department.
- Manage department resources to achieve goals.
