Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on Queensland's waste reduction and recycling efforts? We are seeking two dynamic and experienced Principal Program Officers to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative programs that drive sustainable outcomes.
As a Principal Program Officer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing key grant programs that support Queensland's waste reduction and recycling initiatives. You will lead the development of new programs of work, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable results.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing the end-to-end management of grant programs, from initial design and planning to delivery and evaluation.
• Driving the use of project management tools and techniques to ensure tasks, milestones, and outcomes are achieved efficiently and effectively.
• Preparing high-quality reports, recommendations, and program documentation to support decision-making and promote Queensland's leadership in waste management.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry representatives, and community groups, to foster partnerships and achieve shared goals.
• Providing expert advice to senior leaders and stakeholders on program objectives, strategies, and outcomes.
• Contributing to a positive workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and respect, while supporting better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
