About the role

This is an exciting Full-time, Part-time, or Temporary opportunity to provide high‑quality acute general medicine services, contribute to the education of future clinicians, and support the development of safe, patient‑centred models of care across one of Queensland's fastest‑growing regions.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide high quality inpatient and outpatient services at Caboolture Hospital and other facilities within Metro North Health services as required.
  • Foster the development of expertise in General Medicine of physician trainees, resident medical officer and medical students, and to be involved in performance appraisal and feedback.
  • Direct accountability is to the Director Medicine and Older Persons and the Director Medical Services, Caboolture Hospital.
  • Perform all duties efficiently and in a professional manner.
  • Represent the hospital and the department on committees as agreed with the Director of Medicine.
