An exciting opportunity exists to join the North Community Care Team as a Psychologist. You will deliver best‑practice, evidence‑based clinical services including assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic intervention and evaluation for consumers of Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service. The North Continuing Care Team provides specialist multidisciplinary assessment, treatment and care for patients who experience a wide range of severe and persistent psychosis, mood, anxiety, behaviour and eating disorders that significantly impact daily functioning and quality of life. Our services are provided across the community to ensure continuity of care.

About your role:
- Undertake contemporary and evidence based Mental Health case management as an Allied Health Professional.
- Using a biopsychosocial model conduct mental health assessments and assist consumers, families and supports to develop a comprehensive individual recovery plan and facilitate the effective delivery, monitoring and evaluation of this plan.
- Work with families and communities to promote recovery and community inclusion and to access generic supports, opportunities and resources.
- Develop and maintain collaborative work practices and relationships with other agencies (including non-government organisations), service providers and consumer and carer groups to ensure consumers have access to an integrated service system.
