As a Senior Advisor, Employment Relations you will participate in the management of a range of allocated workplace relations matters, initiatives and projects that may include management of enterprise bargaining negotiations and outcomes, dispute resolution and emergent issues. You will provide high level advice and support to managers, staff and unions to support the effective and consistent delivery of human resource management services. Additionally, you will undertake research and analysis of emerging industrial relations issues and options to support the development of effective and comprehensive responses to such issues.
Role fit
The essential requirements for this role are:
- Ability to locate, interpret and apply industrial instruments relevant to Queensland Health employment framework in order to resolve matters of medium complexity.
- Analytical and problem solving skills to support the development of solutions to industrial relations policy and resolution of specific disputes.
- High level understanding of industrial relations systems (national and Queensland) and industrial relations legislation including industrial instruments such as awards and certified agreements.
