We're excited to welcome a Principal Data Engineer to our Business Transformation Unit in Digital Health and Technology.

The Principal Data Engineer will lead the ongoing develop and improvement of Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Data Warehouse to support the organisation to make data driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the design, development, enrichment, presentation and maintenance of data assets to enable health service planners to maximise value from data and build data-driven decision making into the organisation.
- Ensure the architecture and infrastructure underpinning the data assets is fit for purpose, optimised, adopts best practice principles, and designed for efficiency through the entire data journey including source-to-target data acquisition, modelling, ingestion, transformation, storage and access.
- Undertake timely review of data sources and identify gaps in data and information to ensure data assets are always relevant, organised, well-defined and meets the needs of stakeholders to enable evidence-based decision making.
- Build and maintain partnerships with key enablers such as eHealth to manage the administration, accessibility and interoperability of the data platform.
Remuneration value up to $171,568 p.a., comprising salary between $140,115 - $150,371 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7).
