Mary Valley State College is located in Imbil, approximately an hours drive from the Sunshine Coast and just 30mins from Gympie, offering a peaceful rural setting within easy reach of regional centres.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Middle Years teacher to join our small, supportive High School team of 6 staff. The successful applicant will bring strong subject knowledge in Humanities and Art for Years 7-10 and collaborate closely with colleagues, with the added curriculum guidance and support of an experienced Head of Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a positive, collegial environment while inspiring students across multiple disciplines.

Current Opportunities:

  • *Humanities with some Visual Arts (main subject is Humanities) and Social Sciences (Middle Years) - Year 7-10 (temporary/full time, commencing 20/04/26 - 11/12/26)

*Humanities vacancies could include some or all streams of Humanities and Social Sciences (Geography, History, Civics & Citizenship, Economics and Business, etc, across Year Levels 7 to 10).
