The Queensland Revenue Office is seeking applications to fill an AO6 Senior Revenue Officer - Level 2 vacancy within the Duties & Grants division in Brisbane.
In this role, you will lead a team in a dynamic and fast paced environment, ensuring relevant legislation is correctly administered, promoting and implementing business and system improvements and supporting people in their capability development, resilience and responsiveness to change.
Your typical day as a Senior Revenue Officer - Level 2 will include:
• Interpreting and applying relevant legislations to make sound decisions
• Providing leadership, coaching and guidance to team members, offering support and constructive feedback to build capability
• Providing clear, accurate and timely written and verbal advice to the manager and management team on operational matters and improvement initiatives
• Actively exploring opportunities to improve efficiencies in business procedures and systems
• Undertaking administrative and reporting tasks
• Working collaboratively with other team leaders and managers to ensure efficient and successful delivery of branch and divisional objectives.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
• Experience in leading a highly effective team within a client centric and operational environment.
• Ability to apply your own knowledge and skills to solve problems collaboratively.
• A high level of statutory interpretation skills and interpersonal skills.
This vacancy currently exists within the Duties & Grants division, however this process may be used to fill similar roles in other QRO divisions and revenue lines in Brisbane.
