We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse (Identified) Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to our Child and Family Health Services.
This position is required to provide a comprehensive, holistic nursing service to families and their children on the Sunshine Coast. These services are provided from five (5) Community Health Centres, i.e, Noosa, Maroochydore, Caloundra, Gympie and Nambour as well as outreach centres. The main tenet of the service is to support families and their children through the continuum from pre-natal through to the early years.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Apply the principles of primary healthcare utilising the social model of health, with the focus on preventative activities with particular reference to early intervention for high risk and vulnerable families.
- Works collaboratively with families and their children and members of the multidisciplinary team to provide a plethora of high standard of Child & Family Health Services.
- Delivering a service based on a contemporary evidenced based model of care that is (universal, selected, targeted and indicated). These services include prenatal support, Post Natal contact service in clinics, group programs, parenting programs, Family C.A.R.E. All services are delivered using a Family Partnership approach to relationship development and care plans.
Remuneration value up to $11,604 p.m., comprising salary between $4368.80 - $4678.10 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1) (Fixed Term Temporary flexible full time, 76 hrs p.f. for 7 – 12 months).
