The Health Worker - Generalist (Women's Health) supports the prevention, early detection and management of women's health issues across the Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula Area. Working within the Torres Strait Model for Primary Health Care, the role partners closely with the Mobile Women's Health Nurse and community stakeholders to increase screening participation, deliver culturally appropriate health promotion, and maintain accurate data for monitoring and evaluation.
