Registrar - Immunopathology

Pathology Queensland invites applications for an Immunology Registrar who will contribute fully to department activities, to the extent of your ability and level of training, under the guidance of the Discipline Medical Director, Immunology. As an Immunology Registrar you will be involved in education and research activities, will provide clinical support and set a professional example to more junior clinician and/or scientific staff. A competitive salary applies which includes base salary, vocational training subsidy, professional development leave, examination leave, 5 weeks annual leave and 12.75% superannuation.

Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Academic achievement and interest in Immunopathology; proven ability to succeed in medical examinations.
- Interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as a team member and to relate successfully with other staff at all levels.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both spoken and written English in formal, informal presentation of scientific, teaching or clinical material.
- Ability, interest and willingness to participate in the teaching of pathology and research.
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- MBBS or equivalent, and must be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
- The incumbent must become a registered trainee with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia
