Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Queensland Health Cyber Security requirements and data policies.
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of information technology systems to collect, analyse, report and disseminate data.
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse, interpret and reports data to support effective decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing detailed data analysis including trend analysis, report preparation and provision of recommendations to the Leadership team.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI report and dashboard development, including data modelling and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
  • Proven experience with SharePoint lists development and administration.
  • Hands-on experience in improving, maintaining, and developing Power Automate flows.
  • Experience in creating and enhancing Power Apps.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience building datasets with connections to a variety of data sources, creating custom metrics, cleansing/transforming data and creating static reports as well as interactive dashboards.
  • Ability to recognise and triage organisation events and issues that impact the work of the team.
  • Actively seek feedback and modify approach to enhance own effectiveness.
