An AO7 Team Lead, Quality Assurance vacancy is available in the Technology and Analytics Group of the Queensland Revenue Office. This role will be based in the Brisbane CBD.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the testing discipline within the Technology, Fines and SPER Division of QRO. You will plan and oversee all testing activities for Fines and SPER systems. You will also use your extensive background in software testing to establish standards and processes that will ensure quality deliverables.

Your typical day as a AO7 Team Lead, Quality Assurance may include:
• working with the Manager, Planning and Delivery to resource projects and BAU work, review and adjust priorities, and resolve any issues arising from testing processes;
• providing guidance and support to the system test coordinators responsible for each work stream, in planning the work, timeframes and resources required to achieve priority testing outcomes;
• collaborating with other divisional leaders and teams to refine standards and processes and deliver work priorities efficiently;
• lead and manage a team of testing professionals, enabling development and cross-skilling opportunities where possible.
You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
• A strong background in leading software testing teams in complex regulatory environments.
• Extensive experience with test planning and resource management, to deliver in alignment with organisational priorities.
• A thorough understanding of various types of software testing, concepts and best practices.
• Experience with qTest or automated testing tools such as Postman would be highly regarded.
