You'll play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, embedding continuous improvement and aligning delivery with organisational priorities.
A critical part of the role is chairing the QWSS Change Advisory Board (CAB). What You'll Be Accountable For
- Leading and managing the Digital Reform team to deliver high quality BAU releases on time and to agreed standards
- Coordinating the full release lifecycle, including planning, resourcing, risk management, deployment and post implementation reviews
- Monitoring team performance, recognising achievements and addressing issues to maintain a motivated, high performing team
- Building strong partnerships with cross functional teams to seamlessly integrate technical solutions
- Working closely with the QWSS Program Leadership Group and Senior Officers
- Chairing the monthly QWSS Change Advisory Board, guiding robust decision making on change priorities
- Ensuring thoughtful assessment of impacts, risks and urgency to balance business continuity and innovation
- Developing contingency plans to minimise disruption and manage emerging risks
- Supporting capability uplift through mentoring, coaching and professional development
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering BAU releases in complex, fast paced environments
- Experience chairing a Change Advisory Board or similar governance forum (highly desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to influence at all organisational levels
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a practical, delivery focused mindset
- The ability to prioritise and deliver in the face of ambiguity and competing demands
- A commitment to building a respectful, inclusive and high performing workplace culture
