An AO5 Testing Officer Level 2 vacancy is available in the Technology Fines and SPER Division of the Queensland Revenue Office. This role will be based in the Brisbane CBD.

In this role you will test all changes, enhancements and corrections to the core systems that support the Queensland Revenue Office SPER and Fines business operations. As the Testing Officer Level 2, you will apply your testing skills to develop and execute test cases and scenarios.

Your typical day as a Testing Officer - Level 2 may include:
• Planning and scripting tests for a range of business applications, complex system processes and API integrations
• Liaising with business analysts, developers, service management team and business representatives to perform testing activities 
• Writing test scripts (both manual and automated) and preparing test data for various types of testing e.g. SIT, Regression testing
• Executing test scripts, clearly documenting outcomes and managing defects 
• Leading and guiding other test team members.

You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
• Agile system testing methodologies 
• Testing and defect management tools, ideally Tricentis q Test, with Zephyr Scale highly regarded. 
• Relevant experience with SPER or Fines Administration, and ICT systems testing will be highly regarded.
