Role details
The Support Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Administration Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
As an integral member of a professional team, assist in the provision of administrative support to the Support Services team.
About the Team
The Support Services Department plays an important role in delivering a diverse range of non-clinical services that support the Mackay Base Hospital and Community Health Centres in providing a patient centred health care to our region. These support functions are embodied into four service lines, Operational Services, Food & Linen Services, Security Services and Travel Services. The focus is on efficient processes through best practice, whilst satisfying environmental standards, infection control and safety requirements as well as meeting productivity and efficiency across the facilities.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
