Join Metro South Health as an Eat Walk Engage Program Facilitator in a temporary part-time (32 hrs/fortnight) role for up to 12 months based at Redland Hospital, Cleveland, where you’ll lead innovative, evidence-based initiatives to improve outcomes for older inpatients.

Your new role:
In this role, you will lead the implementation and ongoing success of the Eat Walk Engage program, driving improved care for older patients through collaboration, leadership and innovation by:
- Leading the rollout and sustainability of the Eat Walk Engage program across designated wards
- Applying project management, quality improvement and change management methodologies
- Acting as a key clinical resource for multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinating training, education and capability building for staff
- Facilitating multidisciplinary meetings and stakeholder engagement at all levels
- Supporting recruitment, supervision and development of assistant staff
- Monitoring, auditing and reporting on program performance and patient outcomes
- Promoting age-friendly care principles and enhancing patient and family engagement
About you:
You are a motivated and experienced health professional with strong leadership and project skills, who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment with:
- Tertiary qualifications and relevant registration with an Australian professional body
- Demonstrated experience in project management, service improvement or change management
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to lead, influence and support multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of contemporary clinical practices, policies and standards
- A passion for improving care outcomes for older patients

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
