About the role
The role of Resident Medical Officer is to participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to hospital patients.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide general medical services for inpatients of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service. These services are expected to be of a quality consistent with the ethics and standards of both the medical profession and the community at large, including the keeping of adequate medical records and the provision of appropriate discharge information.
- Interview, examine and identify clinical problems in patients and to plan overall clinical care.
- Initiate and maintain clinical care of patients.
