About us:

Mount Morgan Multipurpose Health Service is a modern rural facility located just 40 km from the main referral centre in Rockhampton. It offers an integrated service with 20 inpatient beds (10 acute and 10 residential), two emergency resuscitation bays, and multiple consultation rooms.

The service delivers comprehensive care including accident and emergency, outpatient and wound clinic services, acute inpatient care, aged care, community health, and a co-located General Practice service. Patients also benefit from visiting allied health services such as podiatry, dietetics, optometry, and dental - making it a well-rounded hub for rural healthcare.

About the role:

Play a key role in a rural service, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, competent, evidence-based care - while being supported to practice at the top of their scope. You'll use your nursing knowledge and skills to provide patient-centred care, respond to physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural needs, and collaborate with the Registered Nurse and patients to develop and review care plans.

This role requires strong organisation of workload, clear communication when care needs exceed scope, and teamwork to ensure quality outcomes. Practising in line with professional standards, you will contributes to compassionate, accountable care that supports both patients and the wider healthcare team.

About you:

  • Simply hold Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, safety, and risk management within a healthcare environment.
  • Bring sound nursing knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, using evidence-based practice and contributing to continuous quality improvement.
  • Have the ability to adapt to change, work collaboratively, and a drive to continually develop from novice to advanced practice, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $88,846 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $37.00 - $39.27 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
