This role leads and manages procurement and contracting activities across Pathology Queensland, delivering commercially sound, compliant and value-for-money outcomes. The position provides high-level commercial, contractual and procurement expertise to support operational and capital programs, ensuring procurement strategies are cost-effective, risk-managed and aligned with organisational objectives.
What you'll do
In this role you will lead and manage complex and high-value procurement and contracting activities, provide expert commercial and procurement advice to senior stakeholders, manage contract negotiations and supplier performance, develop strategic sourcing and procurement strategies, and ensure procurement activities meet governance, probity and legislative requirements.

We are searching for someone who:
- Has extensive experience in government procurement and contracting
- Has experience managing complex, high-value contracts
- Has strong commercial and financial acumen
- Has experience in strategic sourcing and category management
