About the role  

The Administration Officer provides high quality administrative and operational support to the Ministerial and Executive Services Unit. The role is responsible for managing and triaging incoming requests, coordinating multiple Outlook inboxes, allocating and tracking cases, and supporting a small team to manage workloads effectively. You will maintain accurate records, create and manage cases within a case management system (Salesforce desirable), prepare correspondence and reports and assist with ministerial briefings. You'll have good judgement, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands while delivering confidential and efficient support. 

About you 

You'll be confident working across the Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook and SharePoint, using these tools to keep information organised, accessible and flowing smoothly. With clear, polished written skills and confident verbal communication, you'll engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Your experience with recordkeeping systems will support accurate, reliable information management, alongside an ability to prioritise tasks in a way that creates capacity for effective record keeping. A self-starter by nature, you'll work autonomously with minimal supervision and bring a mindset of continuous improvement, identifying smarter ways of working and contributing to a more efficient, streamlined team environment.
