The Senior Program Officer plays a key role in coordinating and reporting on the performance of social and affordable housing capital delivery programs, ensuring successful delivery of housing supply targets.
For full details, please refer to the role description. Some of the key responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining reporting systems (e.g., Power BI) to support project planning, monitoring, and future reporting needs.
• Preparing well-researched briefings, reports, budgets, submissions and correspondence on operational issues and progress towards targets.
• Managing and maintaining accurate program data and records using tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI, while developing protocols for data management and reporting.
• Producing standard and tailored program performance reports.
• Monitoring milestones and liaising across teams and agencies, including First Nations Housing and Homelessness and Economic Development Queensland, to address discrepancies.
• Responding to stakeholder information requests, often within tight timeframes.
• Developing and forecasting program targets, monitoring progress, and ensuring goals are met.
• Analysing trends and opportunities to support program success.
• Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality in data analysis, reporting and documentation.
• Building productive relationships with stakeholders to source information and provide timely, accurate advice.
• Promoting workplace safety by adhering to Workplace Health and Safety policies and practices.
