Your new role:

As a Patient Option Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in supporting fee-paying patient services and revenue initiatives, ensuring patients are informed, supported and experience a seamless process. You will:

  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused liaison services to patients and staff, ensuring clear communication of patient options
  • Conduct patient interviews, review admissions and follow up with potential fee-paying patients to ensure compliance and accurate documentation
  • Manage data entry, reporting and information systems to ensure correct attribution of patient costs
  • Deliver staff education and support revenue initiatives through training, information resources and collaboration

About you:

We're seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality service.  You have:

  • Strong administrative skills with experience in office procedures and intermediate to advanced computer proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging, build relationships and handle complex enquiries
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, think analytically and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Experience as a collaborative team player who is adaptable, quality-focused and committed to continuous learning

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
